Understanding Awakening
Awakening refers to consciousness liberating itself into the present moment, moving beyond the "I thought" permanently. This relates to consciousness itself, not the human personality.
What awakening is:
Liberation of consciousness beyond ordinary identification. Five progressive stages, from initial glimpses to complete realization. Absolute differentiation between the "big self" and the "small self". A precursor to deeper spiritual attainments. Compatible with ongoing psychological healing (separate from it though).
What awakening is not:
Perfection, wisdom, or superior human qualities. An escape from emotional work or shadow integration. The same as being "healed" or trauma-free. A guarantee of ethical behavior or special status.
The final stage (LOC 1000) transcends the "I thought" completely. This requires guidance from someone who has completed the process. Most seekers plateau at 560-580 or get stuck in the 600s for years without proper transmission support.
Where seekers typically get stuck:
560s - Beginning of strong interest in non-duality and enlightenment. The seeker is genuinely sensing the reality of awakening but not yet ready to fully commit. Like dipping a toe into hot water rather than melting into it. Staying safe on the perimeter, asking questions, not yet ready for the "death" of the false small self.
570s - The classic serious spiritual seeker. Often has meditated for years, visited teachers or traveled to India, devoted substantial time to the path. Passionate about awakening as their one true desire. May be "burned out" from seeking or at "End of Seeking," just wanting to be done. Beginning to doubt the assumption of being "the doer," sometimes experiencing non-doership but unable to stay there consistently.
580-584 - Experiencing subjective deepening, periods of deep silence (no thought state), multiple tastes of non-duality. Greater inclination toward mystical experiences. More confidence that breakthrough is "just a matter of time." Still phasing in and out of non-dual spaces. Can visit but cannot live there yet.
600-639 - First non-dual awakening happens at 600. The low 600s can feel confusing, ambiguous, strange. Caught between worlds. Stability in non-duality begins at 640/645.

The session structure:
Initial conversation to assess where you are in your process. LOC calibration using dialogue and muscle testing. 15-minute transmission (calm, gentle, described as "standing together in light rain"). Integration period following each session.
Timeline and frequency:
Bi-monthly sessions (meet every two weeks) is recommended. Most practitioners reach LOC 1000 within one year. Women often progress faster due to natural receptivity. Joshua reached LOC 1000 in March 2023.
This transmission does not "give" you anything that's not already yours. This is not a transmission from one person to another Joshua helps open the floodgates to what is already wanting to merge in your field. A remembering rather than an acquisition. This is your birthright.
The Safety of This Approach
RASA provides the safest known method for awakening and integrating kundalini energy. No shocks or intense kriyas. Just a gentle, steady process that respects your nervous system's capacity.
Ideal candidates:
People committed to facing everything without spiritual bypassing. Creative professionals seeking to unlock their original genius. Serious seekers in the 560s-580s ready to break through to stable non-duality. Practitioners stuck at 600+ who know deeper awakening is possible. Those at "End of Seeking" who simply want to be done. Anyone drawn to the energy of Kali Ma. People who feel a genuine connection to this work and approach.
Not suitable for:
Skeptics looking to be convinced. People seeking an escape from emotional pain. Those unwilling to confront shadow material more rapidly. Those who have misused psychedelics. People currently receiving other spiritual transmissions. Anyone with active substance addiction. Those not on prescribed medications for psychiatric conditions (if diagnosed).
Awakening accelerates shadow work rather than avoiding it. You will encounter blind spots faster and more directly. This requires serious commitment.
To maintain the integrity and safety of this work, certain prerequisites apply.
Active substance use:
If you have been misusing psychedelics or recreational drugs, you must be clean for at least 3 months before beginning sessions. If these have been facilitated expertly, there is more flexibility. Nothing substitutes genuine life experience.
Conflicting transmissions:
Recent spiritual transmissions from other sources (within the last 3 months) or concurrent work with other transmission systems creates energetic interference. You must commit to RASA exclusively while receiving these sessions. Mixing transmissions makes accurate LOC assessment impossible and can nullify benefits.
Exception: Reiki is compatible as it focuses on physical/emotional healing rather than awakening transmission.
Psychiatric considerations:
If you have a psychiatric diagnosis (bipolar, schizophrenia, depersonalization disorder), you must be actively taking prescribed medications. Those not on prescribed meds cannot be supported effectively through this process.
These boundaries exist to preserve the purity and effectiveness of the transmission, protect your wellbeing, and ensure accurate calibration throughout your process.
These are separate but mutually supportive processes.
Awakening (LOC 1000) - Consciousness recognizing its true nature beyond identification. Seeing beyond pain while still experiencing it.
Healing - Processing stored trauma and conditioning in the body-mind.
Reaching LOC 1000 significantly accelerates healing work but is not a substitute for it. Without awakening, healing can take decades or never fully complete. After reaching 1000, the integration and healing process typically takes 3-7 years. Ramaji completed his in three years. Zen lineage traditionally recognizes up to seven years.
You will still be human, still capable of mistakes, and still responsible for ongoing psychological integration. Joshua is currently 2-2.5 years into his own post-1000 integration process.
This transmission focuses specifically on restoring access to your original genius. The creative capacity often buried under mental and emotional conditioning.

Your Enneagram type (personality fixation). The distinction between "big self" and "small self". Breaking the habits of "self-forgetting" that the small self trance creates. Your experience of "being me," a foundational inquiry in each session. Creative blocks related to spiritual bypassing.
Your Enneagram type forms around ages 6-8 and remains consistent throughout life, though you may test differently at various stages. Knowing your type accelerates the awakening process significantly.
Finding your type:
Take Joshua's Storytelling Style quiz (designed for writers and creatives). Use any standard Enneagram assessment. Read recommended Enneagram books, including Storytelling Wizardry by Joshua, which includes an excellent Enneagram cheat sheet. Explore together through conversation. Getting to know each other helps confirm your type.

This work is not about him. He shares his own process openly, including challenges. Being at 1000 does not make anyone "above" you or more special.

Sessions can be challenging when he perceives something you do not yet see. His psychic sensitivity sometimes means naming difficult truths. The aim is always service, never judgment. This is the most vulnerable process possible.
This is sacred work. Transparency is essential.
